LG Reveals New Xboom Speakers with AI-Enhanced Karaoke and Portable Features
LG has expanded its Xboom lineup with innovative speakers designed for both entertainment and portability, including a karaoke-focused party speaker developed in collaboration with Will.i.am. Announced recently, these new devices feature advanced AI capabilities, improved audio performance, and versatile battery life suitable for various environments.
LG Stage 501: The Karaoke-Ready Powerhouse
The LG Stage 501 is a flagship party speaker designed with a five-sided aesthetic, featuring enhanced dual woofers and full-range drivers for richer sound quality. It introduces an “AI Karaoke Master” that can remove or adjust vocals from nearly any song, similar to features seen in Soundcore Rave 3S. Additionally, it can modify the pitch to make singing more comfortable, all without needing specific karaoke tracks.
- Battery and Power: Equipped with a swappable 99Wh battery offering up to 25 hours of playback. When plugged in, it can deliver up to 220W of power.
- Design: The speaker maintains a five-sided form factor and upgrades previous models with new audio components.
LG Xboom Blast: Compact and Outdoors-Ready
The smaller Xboom Blast is built for outdoor use, featuring sturdy bumpers and two handles for portability. It also sports a 99Wh battery providing up to 35 hours of continuous playback, making it ideal for outdoor parties and gatherings.
Additional Compact Models: Xboom Mini and Xboom Rock
LG has added two smaller options to cater to different user needs:
- Xboom Mini: Offers up to 10 hours of playback, includes IP67 water and dust resistance.
- Xboom Rock: Also provides 10 hours of playtime, supporting Bluetooth Auracast for multi-speaker audio broadcasting.
AI and Environmental Adaptation Features
All four speakers incorporate AI-based features:
- Audio analysis for dynamic EQ adjustments that enhance melody, rhythm, or vocals.
- Adaptive lighting that synchronizes with the music.
- Space Calibration Pro technology in the Stage 501 and Blast that fine-tunes sound based on the environment.
