Dell has made a strategic shift back to its traditional naming conventions for the 2026 lineup, reversing some of the confusion caused by its 2025 naming scheme. The flagship XPS series is making a comeback, maintaining its status as Dell's premium offering, while entry-level models simply carry the familiar "Dell" branding.

The enterprise segment sees a notable update as well, with Dell Pro laptops being succeeded by the new Dell Pro Precision line, replacing the previous Pro Max branding that sounded somewhat reminiscent of Apple’s naming strategies.

While perfection may still be a work in progress, these changes represent significant improvements over previous attempts, reaffirming Dell's commitment to clarity and targeted offerings.
