A harsh anti-ICE stance has surged into online and real-world conversations following deadly shootings linked to federal immigration agents. In Minneapolis on a recent weekend, an agent fatally shot Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse, adding to a recent incident in which another person, Renee Good, was killed and publicly branded a “domestic terrorist” by officials despite a lack of supporting evidence. The violence surrounding immigration enforcement has made anti-ICE rhetoric feel unavoidable across various corners of the internet.

This time, the discussion spilled into an adult-focused space. The subreddit r/MassiveCock, which traditionally centers on explicit photos and adult content, became a stage for political commentary over the weekend. Between the usual posts, users began sharing anti-ICE messages, signaling a broader reach of the issue beyond purely political or advocacy forums.

One post captured the moment, declaring, “How hard I get when I think about abolishing ICE,” followed by a provocative image. Another user added, “Sorry, I was just thinking about ICE agents rotting behind bars for the rest of their lives,” paired with a photo. A contributor going by tomatoe1987 highlighted one of the prominent anti-ICE posts, which quickly climbed to the top of the weekend’s submissions. The poster asked to remain anonymous, explaining that he is a private person who mainly uses adult subreddits to meet people and share content. He described himself as moderately politically active—votes, occasional rallies—but not an activist, and noted that Reddit is his primary platform with minimal presence on other social media.

“Ice events have been having a devastating effect on my community, friends, and colleagues,” he told The Verge. He later added that he regretted some of what he did, calling it “a little (very) silly,” but framed the act as a venting mechanism in a time of strain. He emphasized that there are many people who share concerns for safety and well-being, even in spaces not traditionally political.

There are now dozens of posts with similar anti-ICE sentiments in r/MassiveCock, with many comments expressing support for the stance. Yet not everyone was convinced that politics should spill into sex-oriented spaces, and some remarks urged caution about conflating political debates with sexual content. The poster argued that being part of “dominant, physically imposing” subcultures does not automatically reveal one’s political views or lack of empathy, insisting that compassion can coexist with what some might see as masculine identities.

The broader point about the intertwining of politics and sex has long been observed, especially as adult content platforms come under pressure from age-verification debates. Critics argue that verification requirements—such as those in the United Kingdom that ask users to upload a selfie or ID to access mature material—risk privacy and free speech while not effectively safeguarding minors. Some users have discovered ways to circumvent these checks.

ICE-related conversations have not been confined to one corner of adult communities. A moderator of r/RandomActsofBlowJob signaled on Sunday that “Fuck ICE” would be the subreddit’s stance on immigration enforcement, and similar debates emerged in related spaces. There has even been discussion about the ethics of maintaining a fascist kink subreddit in an era of increased state repression.

Tomatoe1987 says he does not know whether anti-ICE content will become a lasting feature in r/MassiveCock. For now, he frames it as “a little bit of day-to-day hope,” a way to signal to others that there are many people who are worried about their safety and well-being.
