What happened in Season 2 Episode 3?
In Episode 3, a medical mystery is resolved as two patient pairs arrive with linked injuries, and staff brace for patients from a neighboring hospital. The first pair involves a college student in a suspected psychotic episode and the security guard hurt during a taser incident, which police are reviewing.
The second pair features a couple involved in a vehicle collision: the husband suffers a muscle-related paralysis condition, while the wife bleeds internally. Kylie’s mysterious injuries are explained: they stem from immune thrombocytopenic purpura, requiring steroid treatment.
Dr. Robby continues clashing with Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi over medical approaches and also treats a burn victim grappling with PTSD tied to the 2018 Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. Just as the morning begins to calm, Westbridge Hospital signals an incoming influx of ambulances to The Pitt, signaling chaos to come in Episode 4.
