VisionOS 26.2 Expands Travel Mode and Enables Spatial PencilKit Features for Vision Pro
February 11, 2026
Apple has released visionOS 26.2, the second update to the visionOS 26 family that first arrived last September. The update lands roughly a month after visionOS 26.1 and is available across all Vision Pro headsets.
How to install
- On your Vision Pro, open Settings > General > Software Update to download and install. During installation, you’ll need to remove the headset from wear, and a progress bar is shown on the front EyeSight display.
What’s new in visionOS 26.2
- Travel Mode now supports cars and buses in addition to airplanes and trains, letting Vision Pro be used more fluidly during road travel.
- Spatial accessories gain improved compatibility for hand-drawn content in Notes, Freeform, and any PencilKit-enabled apps, including devices like LogitechMuse.
- Freeform tables can now hold text, images, documents, and drawings, with cells that automatically resize to fit content, helping organize board layouts more effectively.
