Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has landed on Disney+ and already drawn attention for more than its heroics. The story follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox) as he leads a resistance against Mayor Wilson Fisk, who now governs New York via an Anti-Vigilante Task Force.

A subtle MCU crossover hint appears right at the start of the season. While it isn’t a grand cameo, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is quietly pulling strings early on, linked to a larger game involving Fisk and an enigmatic operative known as Mister Charles. Attorney General Steverud (Ty Jones) is pushed into a corner by a sudden call from “Miss de Fontaine,” and abruptly shifts his stance to offer Fisk full assistance.

This move suggests a direct line between Fisk’s safety-conscious ambitions and de Fontaine’s shadowy agenda. It’s implied that de Fontaine either has a working relationship with Fisk or is deeply invested in whatever Mr. Charles is orchestrating—especially given the CIA’s weapon ambitions tied to the Freeport.

The report notes de Fontaine’s complicated history with the Sentry program, Yelena Belova, and the Thunderbolts.
