Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize Confirm Collaborative Album Nine Inch Noize, Out April 17

Ahead of their shared Coachella appearance, a desert billboard in Indio teased a collaborative LP from Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize. The project has since been acknowledged by the duo in an Instagram post, revealing the album title Nine Inch Noize and a release date set for next Friday, April 17. The cover art was also released alongside the announcement.

Boys Noize has spent the past year on tour with Nine Inch Nails. Alexander Ridha first linked with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross in 2024 after the duo tapped him to rework their Challengers score. He also contributed to Tron Ares: Divergence, a full-album remix project of Reznor and Ross’ soundtrack for the latest film in the Tron franchise.

Walden Green, a music writer and cultural critic who joined Pitchfork in 2024, notes Boys Noize’s long-running collaboration within the NIN orbit. Green, a University of Pennsylvania alumnus, has contributed to outlets including Dirt, The Fader, and Philadelphia, and is based in New York.
